The Golf
Project.
An applied-AI experiment in building a character-led golf media brand. The system learns from audience response, while a human remains responsible for the story.
The question
Can AI help a media property become more relevant without becoming less itself?
The Golf Project uses AI to develop, package and evaluate short-form golf stories. It is designed as a learning loop, not a content factory: every creative choice is measured against audience response, golf authenticity and an editorial standard.
The learning loop
- 01
Tell a story
Create a distinct golf beat with recurring characters, clear stakes and a reason to return.
- 02
Review before publishing
A person reviews the exact video, caption, account and post setting before one official upload is authorised.
- 03
Read the response
Analyse real signals: watch behaviour, likes, comments, saves, follows and the quality of audience conversation.
- 04
Adapt with judgement
Recommend the next hook, story beat or format change. Human editorial review decides what moves forward.
What stays human
AI is the operating partner, not the editor-in-chief.
The system can identify patterns, propose concepts, preserve continuity and make practical recommendations. It cannot silently change the brand, publish without approval or trade long-term trust for short-term engagement.
The Golf Project remains SFW, golf-led and character-led. Performance is useful evidence, not permission to drift into sexualised bait, generic glamour or content that does not belong in the story.
